Parents are now naming their children after Instagram filters
The hot trend in 2015 baby-names is to take inspiration from Instagram filters, presumably to add a sense of interest or artistic depth to their otherwise lackluster children.
According to Babycenter.com, who have sifted through trend data from 340,000 parents from around the world, the names Lux, Juno, Reyes, Ludwig, Amaro, Valencia and Willow are all on the rise.
It’s not all bad news though, the names Sierra, Walden, and Lark all lost popularity in 2015 – clearly no parent wants to lumber their child with the baggage of being named after a shit filter on a photo sharing site.
