Dad takes out a cringeworthy full-page newspaper ad to help his 48-year-old son find a wife
A 48-year-old man said he was shocked to see a full-page ad in a local newspaper inviting candidates to interview to be his wife.
Turns out Baron Brooks’ Dad Arthur, 78, had spent around £650 to buy the ad space without his knowledge. The ad isn’t exactly flattering – as it mentions his grey hair and short height (apparently women in high heels aren’t really welcome, neither are Obama or Hillary voters).
“I can’t even describe to you how embarrassing and ridiculous this is,” said Brooks, who says he’ll go ahead with the ‘wife interviews’ as there is “no sense in defusing a bomb once it’s already gone off.” HAS HE NOT SEEN THE FILM AUDITION?
