A wonderful highlight from the Belgian National Day involving geese and a marching band
Yesterday was “Belgian National Day“, a commemoration of the date in 1831 when the nation’s first monarch, Leopold of Saxe-Cobourg, swore allegiance to the new Belgian constitution. Naturally it involved some geese* and a marching band playing “Ode to Joy”.
*maybe they’re ducks. I’m not a gooseologist.
