This EDL march in Manchester could be the most entertaining thing they’ve ever done
The People’s Vote gathering in London wasn’t the only march going on in the country over the weekend.
Oh no, there was also a march by the English Defence League in Manchester. But while more than half a million people were estimated to have turned up for the People’s Vote march, this is what it looked like further north.

And it prompted some very funny replies online.
There have been more members of the Sugarbabes than turned up to this protest

There's less people than all the The Fall members ever there!

Good on the police for joining the demo and swelling the ranks. Very community spirited.

Its nice that they can share a taxi home again.

More police to look after 30 of them than I saw watching 700,000 in London.
Says an awful lot.

There’s been a big protest march today. You may have not known. The English Defence League swamped the streets of Manchester. Here they all are, bless them. (Photo: Scott Dawson). pic.twitter.com/mYpeXDeeIv

And just in case you were wondering.
I was just sad enough to sit and count them all. There, to my amateur eye, twenty seven of them.
