Donald Trump just suffered a total meltdown and it’s an amazing watch – our favourite responses online
Here’s Donald Trump giving his first press conference after the midterm elections in which his Republican Party managed to hold on to the Senate but lost control of Congress for the first time in 8 years.
Trump said it was a triumph – he would, wouldn’t he – but this performance at the White House today suggests otherwise. It lasts not much more than a minute and it really is worth watching in full.

Hold up the mirror. Highlight the lies. His many tools & weapons are powerless in the face of repeated truth. It's why despots *always* despise free media. God knows what happens next but a united press corps is a powerful force for good. https://t.co/zCUKuW1akZ

my favorite way to listen to the president is slowed down to 1/2 speed because it reveals how often times his logic is indistinguishable from that of a drunk person: pic.twitter.com/QiUb4CQdU9
