Darts players kicked up a stink about a mysterious fart smell
It’s a long time since the professional darts circuit was virtually synonymous with cigarettes and beer, so you’d expect the atmosphere at matches to be considerably more pleasant than it used to be, but this wasn’t the case at a Grand Slam of Darts fixture between Wesley Harms and Gary Anderson. The post-match interview with winner Gary Anderson explains the problem.

Who can argue with the line “Usually if I fart on stage I s—t myself, I’ve told you that before”?
According to the Telegraph, Professional Darts Corporation Chairman, Barry Hearn pointed the finger in the direction of the caller, Russ Bray, adding:
“Something doesn’t smell right. There is nothing worse than a silent fart. This could run and run.”
This would probably happen more often if most sports weren’t played in the open air, yet we somehow can’t imagine Serena Williams giving an interview like this.
