Donald Trump visited this Californian town destroyed by fire and couldn’t even get the name right
Donald Trump has been roundly criticised for his response to the wildfires destroying large parts of California so he decided to visit to see the devastation for himself.
After visiting one of the places hardest hit, the town of Paradise, Trump had this to say and, well, have a watch for yourself.
"What a name": President Trump mistakenly called Paradise, California "Pleasure" after touring the wildfire wreckage there https://t.co/4zR48rP68A pic.twitter.com/rMADuALx6U

Close but no cigar, Mr President.
What's interesting to me is not that Trump sometimes misspeaks but how he reacts when he realizes. Rather than apologize, he'll always say "or (the correct word)," as if it's a subjective choice between the correct word and the equally valid word he used. https://t.co/4QFhIEGbJZ

My hot take on Pleasure V Paradise #ParadiseFire #trump
“Here at “Pleasure” it’s terrible”
Trump doesn’t know Paradise is a place -it’s not called Pleasure that might be an adult dance club pic.twitter.com/vnZFkfSGRB— Janey Godley (@JaneyGodley) November 19, 2018
Again: in the ashes of my hometown. He couldn't even remember its fucking name. https://t.co/XmpnrhLxCm

The look on the other man’s face, California governor Jerry Brown, says it all.
