They built a tower to keep that Stop Brexit guy off the TV news, so he did this
You’ll probably be familiar now with the work of Steve Bray, the anti-Brexit protestor whose placards can regularly be seen behind people being interviewed outside Parliament.
Resulting in rather brilliant TV moments like this, for instance.

The BBC appears to have got a bit tired of seeing him in the background all the time so they built a tower overlooking College Green to keep him out of shot.
Except he did this.
And now this happens.
So instead of doing this sort of thing …
Oh dear.
I might have spoilt John Redwood MP's day.

… they do this sort of thing.
Not everyone thought the tower was a response to the placards (and there’s no confirmation it cost Β£10,000).
Hi Steve, the BBC regularly puts up a podium on College Green for big political moments (like this week). This picture is from the day Article 50 was triggered, for example: pic.twitter.com/UkVNCo72Iy

Except …
Thatβs interesting as last week we were clearly told that if we carried on protesting then the BBC would erect a platform.

One thing’s for sure, they’re not about to go anywhere soon.
I think @snb19692 is a national hero and needs knighting .
