Donald Trump tweeted in rhyme and got mercilessly ripped for it – 18 poetic burns

As the longest US government shutdown in history rages on, the President’s desperation to get his border wall budget approved has ramped up visibly through his tweets. On Wednesday, he tweeted yet another, rather succinct, reason why the wall should be built.

As rudimentary as that rhyme is, it still seems a bit too clever for Donald Trump, and he probably wasn’t prepared for the avalanche of rhyming insults it would unleash. These are the best we’ve spotted.
