Scientists are blaming working mums for childhood obesity – the only four reactions you need to read
We all know that levels of obesity in children – as well as adults – have been increasing at an alarming rate, and the reasons are many and varied, including the rise in use of computer games instead of playing out, reduction in sports on the school curriculum and the widespread availability of cheap, fatty and sugary foods. However, the Mirror has published an article citing a study which lays the blame at the feet of working mums – yes “mums”, not “parents”. #EverydaySexism
This is how they shared the news on Twitter.

Funny how working dads aren't blamed for kids being overweight, isn't it? Call me naive, but maybe we can find other ways to improve children's diets without shaming women for having jobs? https://t.co/Ppi8OtfmU6

Why did they bother doing any research? It’s obvious it’s the fault of women. I imagine they’re also to blame for the rise of the far right, the collapse of the NHS and the fact that Wagon Wheels are half the size they used to be.

Psychotherapist and author, Philippa Perry, suggested a clip from the Mash Report might be the perfect antidote.
Enough said.
