With the Tory leadership contest not even officially starting until Monday, it’s surprising how many hopefuls have been rabidly promoting themselves already. Brexiter, Dominic Raab, tweeted about his ideal person to become the next Prime Minister, and there are no prizes for guessing who he meant.

We don’t just need a conviction Brexiteer. We need someone who is resolute, who can navigate the rocky path ahead and get Brexit delivered. I’m the candidate you can trust, who will give us the best shot of getting a better deal for the UK.
