This little boy and his “big Band-Aid” have gone viral because that’s not a Band-Aid
It’s a good thing for children to learn about first aid from a young age, although it’s obviously a better thing if they learn not to run with scissors, eat pennies, or touch that wrong part of a cat’s belly that turns it into a lethal weapon.
When Twitter user paige‘s little brother had a sore arm*, he went to tend to his injury and came back like this.
*or a desire to have a plaster on a perfectly healthy arm

And this was his explanation.

With 158 thousand retweets and almost eight million views in two days, “Big Band-Aid Kid” is going to be trying to live this down for years. People have been stopping by with funny comments, like these.

But, for those laughing at him, his definition has been confirmed by an expert source.
Having reviewed the definition of Band-Aid and finding "a makeshift, limited, or temporary aid or solution that does not satisfy the basic or long-range need," we are giving this description a thumbs up. https://t.co/RERhzy7uOY
