Macaulay Culkin hilariously demonstrates how an updated Home Alone should look
Macaulay Culkin achieved iconic status as a child actor in films like My Girl and Home Alone, in which he plays the ever-resourceful Kevin McAllister whose MacGyver-like skills defeat a couple of ruthless home invaders. He’s recently updated that iconic status by being a quirky and highly entertaining adult in real life – or, at the very least, the online version of real life.
Here are a few examples of how he’s smashing Twitter.

He also allowed the internet to choose a new middle name to replace his original one, which was Carson.
Merry Christmas to me, from all of you!
My new middle name has been chosen. You voted and the winner is clear.
In 2019 my new legal name will be:
Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
It has a nice ring to it (if you like my name).#MerryChristmas

We find ourselves loving him even more, however, after he tweeted his reaction to the news that Disney is planning a Home Alone reboot.

The hilariously self-deprecating tweet has more than 60,000 retweets at the time of writing, less than 12 hours after posting. He added:
