Greta Thunberg turned Putin’s criticism into a subtle burn in her Twitter bio
We can’t think what it is about the well-informed, outspoken, unintimidated young climate activist, Greta Thunberg, that seems to frighten older white guys with a stake in selling fossil fuel, but she definitely has them rattled. The latest person to try to put her back in her box is Vladimir Putin, who described her as kind, but “poorly informed”.

Unbowed, Greta reacted as she did to Donald Trump’s attempt to put her down – with a change of Twitter bio.

Twitter was a lot more impressed by her reaction than it was by his comment.
Putin is a petrostate authoritarian, so of course he's going to attack @GretaThunberg. But as she did with Putin's puppet, Greta again gets the last laugh. https://t.co/mD0hhjanxL pic.twitter.com/VArUne64oc

Shame he missed two words at the end of that sentence: “the modern world is complicated and complex and dying”

Russia‘s economy is based on gas&oil, so Putin’s statement is not a big surprise. But interesting how scared the establishment is about Greta. She is recognized to be a danger for them.

Twitter user @fbtoast had a message for Putin.
Nobody explained to Vlad that if we don't reverse climate change by 2030, life in earth as we know it is over. #FuckOffVlad
