The only 5 reactions you need to Pope Francis slapping a devotee
It seems strange to many of us that the Pope has adoring fans who act like teenage girls at a Beatles gig in 1965, but then Beatlemania seems just as weird, if we’re being honest.
Once in a while, one of the crowd can go a little too far, and when that happened to Pope Francis, he reacted in a surprisingly tetchy way.

He later apologised, saying
“I apologise for the bad example yesterday … sometimes even I lose patience,”
But that didn’t stop Twitter from reacting as Twitter does, and these people didn’t mind what type of example they set.

There was also a reminder from Ten Second Cynic that Pope Francis isn’t all sweetness and light.

If the album isn’t called “Live from the Rapican” is there even a point?
