This LBC caller tried to criticise Labour based on ‘cheese and penises’ – it did NOT go well
On Tuesday, the Met Police announced their recommendation for 20 fixed penalty notices to be issued for breaking Covid rules in Westminster and/or Downing Street.
Boris Johnson, 2021: There were no parties in Downing Street
Met Police, 2022: We are issuing 20 fines for parties held in Downing Street
They're lying to you.

If I owned a company and discovered employees had partied hard during lockdown, I’d sack every single one of them.
Number 10, on the other hand, will shrug and hope the fog of a war on the other side of the continent will provide the ample carpet they require to sweep it away.

The Met will not be issuing the names of those fined, or the names of those who have kindly agreed to cover the cost of my fine. #PartyGate

James O’Brien covered the news on his show, and while many people called to criticise the PM and other members of the government for breaking the rules they had made, one caller – Ryan – took the opportunity to criticise *checks notes* the Labour Party.
If you’re wondering what sort of positions the ludicrous ‘war on woke’ is designed to promote or why on earth the Vote Leave government wants to make it central to the next election, this remarkable exchange should prove helpful… https://t.co/6jpkdunfJr

It’s a little over eight minutes, but not a second is wasted.
When this caller says breaking the law on 20 separate occasions is not as bad as the Labour Party @mrjamesob challenges him to explain why, without mentioning 'cheese or penises'.
It does not go well… pic.twitter.com/yw78vdPiQG

We’re getting flashbacks to the many ‘Tell me one tangible benefit of Brexit.’ conversations – but with added cheese and penises.
These responses say it all.
This is amazing. https://t.co/Ng15TYHceQ

Why do they put themselves through this on a daily basis.
The self confidence is off the scale .

this is what happens to politics when 'the left' is demonised to voters without them being accurately told what 'the left' is https://t.co/tyb0VajSQo

‘Cheese and penises’
I was literally crying with laughter at this today. Sad fact is, Brian hates the party that cares about him and loves the party that hates his guts. Not sure what you do about that https://t.co/Y5fa3bfEbK

There was also this grim analysis.
Tories aiming to win next Election with a ‘War on Woke’ and judging by this guy, it’ll work.
