Top trolling from Newsnight with this extraordinary end credits sequence
As the Tory MP resignation count has risen, it has become very difficult to keep track of who has and hasn’t jumped ship. On Wednesday, Newsnight helpfully shared the roll call, and they did it with style.
In case you missed it, #Newsnight replaced its end credits tonight with a list of all the ministerial resignations so far set to an acoustic version of Bittersweet Symphony pic.twitter.com/VPztjMc6OE

The John Lewis Christmas ad-esque music was a particularly nice touch. Here’s what people had to say about it.

Edwin Hayward had a prediction.
Glorious.
The Tories will presumably use this as ammo to have another pop at the BBC, and accuse them of covering none of the zero resignations from Starmer's shadow cabinet in the last 24H… https://t.co/gsdd0wNYWv

Of course, the question mark after ‘Boris Johnson’ is no longer in question.
If Boris Johnson hasn’t resigned by 10am I will be forced to crap in his shoes. #DowningStreetSiege
