Rumours of a Royal announcement led to some absolutely majestic speculation – 21 funny favourites
The current amount of speculation about the lives of the Royal Family – or, indeed, their imagined deaths – must surely be at an all-time high.
Conspiracy theories about the Princess of Wales have been helped along by the surprising incompetence of the Royal comms team – and whoever actually photoshopped that image of Catherine and the children.
A rumour that there was to be an announcement from Buckingham Palace sent Twitter/X into a frenzy.
