It remains to be seen what sort of legacy Kemi Badenoch will leave the Conservative Party.

But even if she is destined to be a footnote in the history books, at least the leader of the opposition will always have the devastating side-eye she threw at Wes Streeting in the House of Commons on Wednesday.

Badenoch, it has to be said, made one of her most effective speeches since becoming Tory party leader and it didn’t get better than this moment when she vented her spleen at the PM wannabe and (at the time of writing) health secretary Streeting.

Wait for it, wait for it!
