A judge ordered Donald Trump to take his name off the Kennedy Center, and triggered an unhinged Truth Social rant of epic proportions – 24 schadenfreude-coated reactions
It’s not yet six months since Donald Trump had the John F Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts rebranded to include his name – above that of JFK.

The late president’s niece, Maria Shriver, summed up why it was such an outrageous move.
The Kennedy Center was named after my uncle, President John F Kennedy. It was named in his honor. He was a man who was interested in the arts, interested in culture, interested in education, language, history. He brought the arts into the White House, and he and my Aunt Jackie… pic.twitter.com/wcGjTp2uqa

The change of name, approved by some Trump additions to the board controlling the venue, went down so well that artists immediately began pulling out of planned appearances, including the New Year concert.
Issa Rae has canceled her sold out performance at the Kennedy Center. Pulitzer Prize winner Rhiannon Giddens, Peter Wolf, Low Cut Connie, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C., have also canceled. Lin-Manuel Miranda has canceled the entire Kennedy Center run of Hamilton. pic.twitter.com/Yedr5c0mLf

Democratic Representative Joyce Beatty filed a lawsuit against the president for the change, and on Friday, Judge Christopher Cooper ruled in her favour, ordering Trump’s name to be removed from the building within 14 days.

A federal judge just ordered Trump’s name removed from the Kennedy Center because it honors JFK, not Donald Trump.
America deserves a president, not a narcissist-in-chief who treats public office as a vehicle for self-promotion and personal enrichment.

President Thin-Skin took the news as well as you’d expect, and he headed straight to Truth Social. Brace yourselves – it’s a 580-word epic.

tl;dr – the President of the United States is a whiny little baby, who can’t take criticism or face up to consequences.
Trump whines about the judge's order to take his name off the Kennedy Center in a rambling, 3 paragraph long post. pic.twitter.com/oUx0jRqYmK

Trump just posted a full-blown essay melting down over today’s federal court ruling requiring his name to be removed from the Kennedy Center and preventing him from shutting it down. Trump blames Barack Obama and the “Radical Left” while declaring he’s no longer interested in… pic.twitter.com/Z7v6Y3OrFw

American soldiers die in Trump's war, not a word from Donald. Gas and food prices skyrocket, not a word from Donald. People demand the Epstein files, not a word from Donald. But the minute you take his fat name off a building, Donald writes Mein Kampf for Morons. pic.twitter.com/3ddHFiXT34

BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump has announced that if he can't have total control over an institution that by law he can't put his name on, he's happy to see the institution destroyed.
Understand that while today the institution at issue is the Kennedy Center, soon it'll be America.
