Alex Scott had a message for clubs sceptical about the women’s Euros and it’s A++
Footballer turned pundit Alex Scott had a few words for the clubs that were sceptical about the womens Euros ahead of this year’s tournament which ended with England’s historic 2-1 win over Germany.
The BBC analyst, who made 140 appearances for the England national team, went viral with this message in the wake of the Lionesses’ epic triumph.

So easy to be rose-tinted at a moment of national joy. Alex Scott wasn't. And it was great to hear – and to hear it said with such passion. https://t.co/WKAjOOOF29

I love @AlexScott so much. No sugarcoating from her (or @IanWright0!) with regards to how women’s football has been sorely overlooked. https://t.co/aSeMPN5TRQ
