The Bristol pub that’s full of cats
Do you like beer? Do you like cats? Then you’ll be chuffed to know that while some pubs in the UK have ‘a’ cat, the Bag O’Nails in Bristol counts fifteen felines as regulars.
Sitting at the bar while cute kittens and fat cats step over your pint is all part of the experience, says landlord Luke Daniels
“We have 15 cats in the pub – we once had 24 but that was too much,” Daniels told the Bristol Post.
All the cats were born in the pub, says Daniels – one even came into being in a crisp box during a quiz night. And of course due to the cat clientele they sometimes have to operate a strict door policy.
