This skyscraper in China looks like a giant toilet

It seems quite fitting that the North China University of Water Conservancy and Electric Power in Heinan resembles a big toilet.

Shanghaiist points out that despite officially banning “weird” buildings back in February, this hasn’t stopped architectural gems popping up in China – like the Beijing’s People’s Daily headquarters which many thought looked like a giant golden length.

Some thought it perfectly complimented the Chinese Central Television headquarters, known as the “pants building”.

Of course in Canary Wharf, London, we’re due to have our own cock-shaped tower block (also designed by Chinese architects), so there’s clearly an element of competition happening (among Chinese architects).
