It’s the closest Nigel Farage is going to get to a knighthood after a little girl dressed up as the Queen ennobled him with an inflatable sword on Kremlin-backed news channel, Russia Today.
But there was a sting in the tale for the seven times unelected to the UK parliament former Ukip leader.
“My mummy says you hate foreigners,” the girl/Queen told him.
“I don’t think that’s quite right,” said Farage. “The Queen has to be non-political.” But she DOES speak for the whole country, Nigel.
