8 times the BBC News app used the wrong picture and it was just perfect
So this happened on the BBC News app and it turns out it’s not the only time this sort of thing has happened. Here’s a dozen of our favourites.

The good old BBC even took the time to get in touch. Well, this chap did.
Hey Emma, I’ll make sure it gets logged first thing on Monday when I get in. I’ve just recently started working on that app. 😀 If you have any more info about the circumstances that cause it, please do DM me.

I did wonder if some poor dev would end up with a shiny new JIRA ticket. I’m so sorry. It is basically if the (android) app is running in the background, and you open it with no data/WiFi, the pictures don’t appear next to the right story.

No need to apologise…them’s the breaks of being a developer (and I’d always rather know than not). Besides, who knows where Peppa Pig will end up otherwise!
