Glorious moment John Humphrys had the tables turned on him on Today
It’s not unusual for John Humphrys to be trending on Twitter, but this time it was because he was answering the questions, not asking them.
Lib Dem MP Jo Swinson asked the Today presenter if he had apologised to his BBC colleague Carrie Gracie over remarks he made about the gender pay gap.
It was already quite a strange interview, to be honest, and it got stranger.

We particularly liked this line.
Humphrys: "I was looking for a specific definition (of sexual harassment). That’s the point, but I’d like to think that I know."
Swinson: "Well I’d like to think you did too, but I don’t think we should make those kind of assumptions.”

I did appreciate the precision tone with which she said “it’s really not that complicated”

And if you haven’t already heard Humphrys’ comments about how he is paid so much more than his female colleagues, you can listen to them here.
