What happens when you ask your boyfriend to buy you a pair of leggings

Now we hesitate to make any assumptions about people’s behaviour based on their sex, but this story of a woman who asked her boyfriend to buy her a pair of leggings – and the hilarity that resulted – struck a chord with a lot of people.

The text exchange was shared by someone called Taylor Anne on Twitter and it goes like this.

It’s at this point that things begin to get desperate.

As someone who took several years to work out the difference between leggings and tights, we feel their pain.

But one question remained.
