As debate continues to rage in the US about the future of gun control after the latest high school shooting, someone shared this stat about the National Rifle Association and it’s pretty much all you need to know.

And this is what the study’s author, Anupam Jena, had to say.
“The findings are quite obvious if you adopt the view that guns are inherently unsafe. If you reduce gun use even a little bit, then you should see reductions in gun injuries.”
So obvious that millions of Americans still can’t see it.
