This letter to the Guardian’s ‘sexual healing’ column went viral because the answer is staring him in the face
It’s not unusual for the Guardian’s ‘sexual healing’ column, presided over by Pamela Stephenson Connolly, to be the among the website’s most popular reads.
But this week it gathered even more attention than usual and you can probably see why.
I tried to come up with a funny tweet to go with this headline but I think it's actually a work of art by itself pic.twitter.com/37bwKkSazH

Hmm, that’s a tricky one. How many words have you got, Pamela?
Oh that’s marvellous

It has entirely disrupted my gym routine because I've now been intermittently sitting on the mat to giggle for about ten minutes

Peak ‘Oh, mate’.

Saw this earlier in Guardian. The subhead is best:
'Why? Is she insatiable?'
Oh mate, I think you spelled 'unsatisfied' wrong.

Here’s the full text of what the chap had to say.
I have been in a relationship for nine months. I thought the sex was good for us both, but when we finish she tells me to shower. I wondered why, and now I know – she masturbates. She has done it multiple times; I think she is insatiable. What should I do?
And here is how Pamela started her reply (click here for the whole thing).
Do nothing. Have your shower and let her get on with it. Such behaviour is very common and you need not worry that she secretly dislikes making love with you. Many women crave a second orgasm, especially if she has been super-aroused during intercourse.
Of course, a second orgasm! Why didn’t we think of that?
"If she also dashes out after and returns a couple of hours later looking tired, dishevelled and inexplicably pleased then it's known as 'foreplay'."
But I really can't think of anything that would improve on "Oh, mate"…
