The responses to this will restore your faith in humanity (a bit)
Here’s something called Barstool Sports – us neither – enjoying a bit of fun at the expense of this guy.
https://twitter.com/barstoolsports/status/995805676432777217
And the responses from these people who took the side of the guy in the gym and not the Twitter feed with 1 million followers almost made the whole thing worthwhile.
1.
I’d much rather talk to this guy than whoever tweeted this

2.
Why are you mocking this dude? He hit a set and he’s feeling good about himself, no reason to knock him down.

3.
This is awful he's at the gym because he wants to be better and he deserves to take a picture while feeling confident, the same ppl who rt this are the ones who take those awful mirror selfies at the gym. But hey, lowest form of humour for the lowest form of ppl I guess

4.
He’s obviously becoming more confident with himself and the person behind a camera has to be a douche about it just to get likes and retweets by people he doesn’t even know. Real funny

5.
this is mean and unnecessary

6.
surreptitiously recording other dudes' workouts is super alpha

7.
Agreed. Guy is trying to get a workout in and people are basically bullying him
— Earthquake (@Lowcrowmat) May 16, 2018
8.
right? and he’s so happy with himself he’s taking selfies. i hope he hasn’t seen this.
— stina (@badgirlstina) May 16, 2018
9.
he looks like someone who has already lost a lot of weight. he should be proud of himself, he's earned the right to be documenting his own progress.

I hope he sees these responses, most people are cheering him on

Wow the replies here are…refreshing?

And then there was this story …
A gym selfie guy once handed me his phone to take a photo of him doing curls. I did, and he thanked me and opened Instagram to post it.
A couple minutes later, I tell you no lie, he came over again and asked me how to spell
arm.
— Geoff Grimwood (@GeoffGrimwood) May 16, 2018
I couldn't even be mad at him.
"Arm? You mean, like…" *point to my arm*
"Yeah!"
"A r m."
"Ahh, yeah, thanks!"
"You got it…!"
— Geoff Grimwood (@GeoffGrimwood) May 16, 2018
So now thats funny because someone couldn't spell?! This contradicts your 1st reply about confidence boost doing a selfie at the gym!
— myvoiceshallbeheard (@Rjo31157) May 16, 2018
I dunno man, you’ve gotta be pretty dense to not know how to spell arm
