This guy forgot a woman’s last name so he emailed every single Nicole at university – all 247 of them – with unexpected results
We’ve all had a situation where we haven’t written someone’s name down properly or we’ve tried to ring someone we met and it turns out we got the number wrong (at least, I think we have).
Anyway, something similar happened to a chap called Carlos Zetina who was keen to keep in touch with someone he met at university called Nicole.
Except the number didn’t work and he didn’t scribble down her last name.
So he did this.
Romantic – or terrifying – depending on your point of view (nah, of course it’s romantic. We love the little detail about Nietzsche, although we’re not sure that narrows it down much).
And one unexpected consequence was that all the Nicoles at the University of Calgary in Canada got together and created their own Facebook group.
Some dude emailed every Nicole at U of C to try to find the girl he met last night and instead they formed a girl gang and I am legit DYING @ucalgary #nicolefromlastnight pic.twitter.com/ql4sxuBADQ

But these were not the Nicoles he was looking for. And it turned out Nicole wasn’t actually any of the 247 people he messaged. Sob.
But did he find the right Nicole?? I need closure!

Rest assured it had a happy ending. Of course it did!
Apparently they’re going on a date next week. Probably best we leave them to it.
This seems like the opening premise for an awesome sitcom.
