This unexpected plot twist went viral because it’s funny and it rang a bell with so many people
Here’s someone called Sean Lowe bemoaning the fact that every time the doorbell rings his kid thinks it’s the pizza delivery guy.
And yet …
Our doorbell rang and Samuel immediately yelled, “pizza!”.
How sad is that? We’ve conditioned our son to believe pizza is being delivered every time the bell rings.
It was pizza.

Boom! Here’s a, ahem, flavour of our favourite replies online.
Now THIS should’ve been what was in my psychology books, not Pavlov’s dog…

Same experiment except I’m Pavlov and Samuel is the dog.

The microwave dinged and my 2-year old daughter goes “dinner’s ready!”

Smoke detector is a pretty good indicator that dinners ready as well.

Our two year old would smile, rub his tummy and say, “Ice cream!” whenever we got into the car at night because that was the only place we went after dark.

My daughter thought if money went out the car window, fries were coming in. She started crying when we went thru the tollbooth and asked where her fries were. #momfail

I just love it!! When my children were young and I would say time to eat, they would grab their shoes and head to the car. You do what ya gotta do😂😂

But this is surely the most important takeaway from the whole thing.
It’s very sad. Order Chinese once in a while
