The shape of this iceberg is freaking people out (and reminding them of one thing in particular)
This weirdly shaped iceberg is freaking people out and yet at the same time there’s something about it that’s enormously satisfying.
But don’t worry, there’s a very good reason for it. That reason being ‘the end of the world’.
From yesterday's #IceBridge flight: A tabular iceberg can be seen on the right, floating among sea ice just off of the Larsen C ice shelf. The iceberg's sharp angles and flat surface indicate that it probably recently calved from the ice shelf. pic.twitter.com/XhgTrf642Z

Ah, okay, so not the end of the world. Yet.
Still, Nasa’s kind words weren’t enough to stop people freaking out just a little bit. And it reminded them of exactly the same thing it reminded you of (probably).
