The best shot of the Liverpool-Manchester United match wasn’t on goal
As Liverpool beat Manchester United 3-1 to stay on top of the Premier League table, one shot from the visitors got everybody talking – and it didn’t hit the back of the net.

Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini appeared to be lining up a goal attempt but to say it missed the mark would be a massive understatement. The poor steward who ended up being knocked off his chair obviously saw it coming and tried to kick it away, but his attempt was no better than Fellaini’s.
The clip has gone viral, with a few armchair pundits giving their considered opinions.

Mr Fellaini hasn’t commented on the matter – in fact, he hasn’t tweeted since November. Perhaps he keeps missing the keyboard.
