The cure for baldness is a soothing massage – if you’re a hedgehog

It can’t be good for a hedgehog’s self-esteem to have no spines – after all, it’s the salient feature of hedgehogs. A bald hedgehog can’t survive in the wild because it has no means of defending itself against predators and would soon end up as a fox’s dinner, so when “Bear” – see what they did there – arrived at Cuan Wildlife Rescue looking like the Kojak of Hedgehog Land, they had to come up with some way of restoring his former glory.

If you’re wondering whether a soothing massage might sort out your bald head, there’s no harm in trying, but good luck getting someone to do it for you.
