Today is the day that would have been Brexit Day had the people running the UK’s exit from the EU not been as useful as a mesh jelly bowl. MP’s are, however, having a debate on whether to accept half of Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement – not a meaningful vote, though, because that would be far too reasonable for this live political soap opera.
