Robert Webb asked about putting on the heating and it became the perfect Brexit metaphor
It’s that time of year again when people are agonising when to put on the central heating (actually, the weather today is making it more straightforward than usual).
Anyway, Robert Webb thought he’d go on Twitter to let people make the decision for him.
Should I turn the heating on?

And it was neck and neck stuff.
It’s close but the jumper guys are currently winning. If I told you we’ve got 10 solar panels on the roof and quite a big battery, that may take the money/eco factors out of the equation. So then people would just be telling me to be cold because it’s good for me.

I have naturist tendencies but today got dressed *before* going downstairs to put the kettle on. Something is wrong. It’s definitely winter.

And in the end this happened, which not only made up his mind but delivered the perfect Brexit metaphor.
52/48. Ok, that’s conclusive. I’m putting on a jumper, dismantling the boiler and heating the house by setting fire to it. pic.twitter.com/Od4FsWjWXV

We asked if every poll these days ended up 52/48 and well, we don’t need to tell you the answer.
It’s the will of the people

You’ll spent the next 3 years arguing over which type of jumper to put on…

Jumper means jumper
