Ken Loach’s heartbreaking story about the reality of many people’s working lives brought Question Time to a standstill
Film-maker Ken Loach was on Question Time last night and told a devastating story about the reality of the so-called gig economy for many, many people working in the UK right now.
Here’s what the director of Kes and I, Daniel Blake said about a van driver called Don Lane.
“You tell me that is right, that a worker is so terrified to have a day off for sickness”

And here are just a few of the things people were saying about it.
Thank you Ken Loach. For your lifetime of commitment and perseverance in the face of injustice. 🌹

I love Ken Loach. So honest. and uncompromising. His movie #SorryWeMissedYou is brilliant. Go to see it if you care about these issues; and if you don't. @KenLoachSixteen @bbcquestiontime
