This shopper had her schoolboy basket error pointed out and she was the very opposite of grateful

Full disclosure here, this is very much the sort of thing we could one day find ourselves doing. But if someone took the time to point out our unfortunate schoolboy error, we hope we’d be grateful to them.

This particular shopper, it’s fair to say, wasn’t grateful. In fact, it looks like she was the exact opposite in the video that’s just gone viral on Reddit.

And these are our favourite things people said about it.

‘It’s a funny part of the human condition when you get caught doing something stupid so you double down.’
TheSurbies

‘Worked retail for years, honestly 9/10 times someone starts kicking off is when they realise they’ve just done or said something incredibly stupid.’
BadManDeego

‘Plenty of words exchanged where YOINK would’ve sufficed.’
joeyfrags

‘Never double down on a mistake.’
Dating_As_A_Service

‘Is this why my mom never defends me?’
BeatVids

Not everyone thought it was the real deal.

‘Am I the only one who thinks this is fake? No name tag on the “employee” and the interaction just seems off.’
waterbirds12

And yet …

‘This video may be fake, but as a former Target PMT (maintenance person) I was tasked with securing these metal basket holders because people actually drag them around like this lady. It scratched up the waxed floors really bad when people do thus and just creates a ton more work for everyone.

‘So video might be fake, but this actually happens a lot.’
