Laurence Fox made a Pride flag ‘swastika’ and Kathy Burke’s shutdown really didn’t hold back
Laurence Fox (sorry) found himself briefly banned from Twitter after he changed his profile pic to a bunch of Pride flags arranged to look like a swastika.
We don’t feel any compulsion to show you what he did and Fox is now back on the social media site after replacing it (although it didn’t stop him wanging on about it, obviously).
Here are just a few of the things people said in response …
I won’t share Laurence Fox’s profile pic where he manipulated the Pride flag in such a way that a swastika can be seen. Under that symbol, my country of birth once murdered millions of people because of who they are. To appropriate that to fuel transphobia is utterly deplorable.

On the weekend of the Oslo attack, Laurence Fox's flag stunt on his bio feels like an epiphany for me. I haven't got time in my life to be friends with anyone who enables this shit. You know who you are.

… but surely the most devastating went to actor, writer, producer, director and all-round hero Kathy Burke.
Really not messing around.
You are the best person on twitter or actually just the best person ❤
