A clip of the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene went viral back in 2020, when a drummer named Tom Winterbottom got some harsh and very tangible immediate criticism from an unusual source.

That’s what you call giving it the old college try. Fair play to Tom for his sterling efforts to keep the beat going.
