This Sky Sports reporter might be in for a bit of a b*ll*cking after her NSFW live report

Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy got a yellow card from Vicky Gommersall back in the studio when she used a NSFW expression to describe how Manchester United’s new goalkeeper, Andre Onana, controls his team’s back line.

Here’s what happened.

“A huge character – we’ve already seen glimpses of that. Him bollocking his defenders when they’ve made a mistake.”

She later explained that the term is commonly used in her home country, South Africa, where it isn’t considered to be offensive.

In fact, though Sky Sports felt the need to apologise, Melissa’s colourful description got the thumbs up from most tweeters.
