That countdown by BBC newsreader Maryam Moshiri has been released – and it’s even better than the middle finger snippet

You can’t have missed BBC newsreader Maryam Moshiri‘s viral moment a couple of weeks ago, when she was accidentally caught on camera with her middle finger raised.

Just in case it somehow passed you by, here it is.

Despite Maryam explaining that it was simply the last moment of a jokey countdown, the usual suspects tried to convince people that she had been showing contempt for the public and/or Boris Johnson, because of the opening item.

However, the full clip has somehow found its way into the public domain – and it’s even better than the original. See for yourself.

Although it was claimed that the BBC had released it, Maryam issued a clarification.

If anything, it made people love Maryam even more.
