Best Of TikTok

Someone claimed there are no great TikToks, but these 17 would beg to differ

In the beginning, there was the World Wide Web. It was a very big place, and it was good. By the end of 1994, there were 2,278 websites available to the general public, then in 2001, Napster, started by Justin Timberlake, died a death.

It left a void, quickly filled by MySpace, WordPress, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit and Twitter. Then, out of the weird ether of 2016, a new website appears. Its name is TikTok. It is a strange and vibrant place filled with videos of people being foolish and embarrassing, but the good people of Earth say it is good.

One Twitter user named @itzt3z observed, “the funniest TikToks be the ones they don’t let you save”. The rest of Twitter begged to differ and brought receipts.

Balance was restored. And it was good.
