‘When I was a child, my teacher would make me take my glasses off for P.E. I’m pretty shortsighted and always have been so I could never see without my glasses.
‘She would then proceed to tell anyone off if they dared to try to throw the ball to me in games like cricket or rounders. She would always say “don’t throw to [my name], she can’t throw or catch”.
