When Elon Musk turned Twitter into X, and declared it to be a free-speech absolutist zone, the tweeks to the algorithm amplified right-wing voices and suppressed criticism of Donald Trump.
That and a lot of funding and alleged unconventional technical help saw Trump find his arse back on the hot seat in the Oval Office, but no amount of Muskification has been able to help him become a competent leader, suppress his urge to line his own pockets, or – crucially – to stop him saying all the quiet parts out loud on his own Twitter-alike social media site, Truth Social.
On Tuesday, he demonstrated just how bad that is for the team trying to limit the ‘Trump dementia’ discourse.
Trump had one of his worst mental health episodes yet last night, posting over 55 times in 3 hours. Here is the list:
