Nadine Dorries called to scrap the Online Safety Act she introduced, and got owned into next year – 15 cutting clapbacks

Nadine Dorries is one of the many high-profile Tories who have jumped ship to Reform UK, having seen the writing on the wall – that writing presumably saying ‘Tories are losers’.

We’re not sure how her defection has affected her dedication to Boris Johnson, but she’s just shown everyone that she learnt a thing or two from him.

In a nod to his scathing remarks about the Northern Ireland Protocol he had negotiated, Ms Dorries has called for the Online Safety Act, which came from her Online Safety Bill, to be scrapped.

The Online Safety Act should be repealed.

The principle at its core, to protect children and young people has been abused and used for political advantage.

It’s a far cry from the time she rapped in favour of it. Yes…she rapped.

She has now written a Daily Mail column (more Boris mimicry) in which she explained why she wants to repeal the act. It’s essentially because Zia Yusuf’s anti-immigration post was labelled ‘hate speech’ on TikTok, in case you were wondering.
