Captain Finance Farage claims he didn’t know about an almost £10k CCJ against him until Channel 4 told him – 15 mega eye rolls

A Channel 4 News investigation has uncovered a county court judgment (CCJ) against Nigel Farage over an almost £10,000 debt. CCJs, as Martin Lewis would tell you, are a close to final step in debt recovery, stay on file for six years, and affect a person’s ability to get credit.

As well as it being odd that a man who owns at least five homes and gets £5 million handouts from billionaire benefactors would have failed to pay such a paltry (to them) sum, Farage claimed he didn’t know it existed until Channel 4 brought it to his attention.

Here’s how Channel 4 reported their findings.

County Court Judgement entered against Farage for £9,400
Unsatisfied record
Case Number 530MC049
MR NIGEL FARAGE
FARAGE MEDIA, 57A BROADWAY, LEIGH ON SEA, ESSEX, SS9 1PE
ENGLAND AND WALES COUNTY COURT JUDGMENTS

The details show that it’s not connected to the £9,999 owed to Brexit Party founder Catherine Blaiklock, for which a CCJ was issued against him in September last year.

When you buy houses for cash, these trifling matters obviously don’t crop up. People weren’t impressed by the latest financial questions now hanging over the increasingly reclusive absentee MP for Clacton.
