‘Apes. Way too smart and strong.
‘Little shits would wait for keepers to be in grabbing range while feeding them/ cleaning enclosures to swing down and grab our hair/radios/phones etc.’

‘Orangutans. I have my college degree in Physical Anthropology. I was so damn excited to work with any primate so when I was out with orangutans, I was thrilled. That lasted about 1 day. Females are highly competitive and see human females as a threat. I was immediately peed and pooped on. No thanks.’

‘Sloths. An animal adapted to barely move and defecate as rarely as possible- instead they save it all up for an entire week. There are no words to describe how horrid that poo/piss mixture smells when they finally meander down and make it happen. Literally eye watering and gag inducing. I could tell the sloth had pooped overnight the second that I entered the building.’

‘Giraffes – they’re the idiots of the animal kingdom. In zoos, their only pastime is figuring out how to kill themselves or each other in the dumbest way possible.’
-Xcarabus

‘Elephants. When they get sick it’s not an easy task to clean afterwards.’

‘Dolphins. Aggressive and capable of causing great bodily harm in and out of the water.’

‘Hyaenas are a pain in the arse. They’re a lot of fun, but also really smart and give no fucks about ‘behaving’ (because they aren’t domesticated animals). They’ll find a way to escape and cause chaos because they’re bored, and occasionally will try to end you, also because they’re bored.’

‘Penguins. People think it’s all cuteness and waddling, but nobody tells you about the smell. It’s like rotting fish mixed with hot asphalt, and they shoot liquid poop with terrifying sniper-like accuracy. I’ve lost two good pairs of boots to a penguin that held a personal grudge against me.’
