‘I write smut books that are literally a copy paste of each other. Country town + sport + two rival teams of sport + two straight best friends on opposite teams + best friends fall in love. Each book just changes the sport.
‘It started as a joke as I was between writing books (based on Vikings) and having writers block. My wife jokingly suggested why don’t I write something smutty for her. So I did. Took me two days. She said it was really good and to publish it on Amazon so with her help I did and with some self promotion it started to sell and build a following. I wrote some more and it paid off my mortgage (ETA: Just to clarify – not that one story, the money made writing many stories did).
